SERVICES
Tar River Timing's primary focus is accurate and reliable chip timing for your next event, but we can do more than just timing. If you need online registration, or customized race numbers, we can handle that too. Below are a list of all of the services we can bring to you.
CHIP TIMING
Using the reliable IPICO timing system, we are able to provide a low cost chip timing solution for your event. If your event is between 250-1,200 runners we can accommodate your needs. If you event is larger than 1,200 runners, let us know and we can work with some of our partners to still meet your needs.
ONLINE RESULTS
Runners expect to see results posted online after the event. We will have an online version of the overall results and age groups posted to the website the evening of your event. You can direct runners to our site, or host the results on your page.
RACE NUMBERS
All of our timed events include your race numbers. If you want a custom number we can do that too. It is a great way to elevate your race, highlight your sponsors, and give runners a unique memento to take home after the event.
STREAMING LIVE RESULTS
Runners don't like to wait for for the event timers to print new copies of results. It takes time and waste paper. Weather permitting, TRT will provide streaming results of finishers on a 37" display screen at the race.
BIB CHIPS
Technology changes, and we can change with it. Shoe chips remain one of the most reliable timing option available in racing, but if you prefer a disposable big chip (attached to the runner's number) we can support this need as well. Contact us for details and pricing.
REGISTRATION
Need online registration? We can help with that too. We partner with EventBrite to set up a secure customized online registration site just for your event. This gives you a professional look and doesn't just drop your race in on a crowded calendar page.
FINISH LINE SET UP
Runners like to feel a sense of accomplishment when they complete a race. TRT provides a wide finish line arch that can be customized with your banner, or can use our standard "Finish" banner. This is a great place for you to highlight your logo, your sponsors, or your event's cause.
ONLINE PROMOTION
All events we time will be listed on the Tar River Timing website. We will also add your event to five other popular online calendars. This is done at no additional cost to your event.
