Is "Tar River Timing" and the "Tar River Running Company" the same business?
No. Tar River Timing (TRT) is a race timing partnership formed by Scott Wingfield and Michael Forrester. TRT specializes in race timing and finish line management. Tar River Running Company is an independently run race direction business managed by Michael. The TRT provides the timing services for all TRRC events as well as other races in North Carolina.

I took my chip home. Where do I mail it?
Chips can me mailed to Tar River Timing at 805 South Creek Drive, Nashville, NC 27856. Please package them carefully so they are not damaged during shipping.

What size events do you time?
We are currently adding events with 300-1,500 runners. If you are in need of timing, please contact us with you event details and we can provide a quote.

Do you offer "bib chip" timing.
Yes. Tar River Timing can provide both show chips and disposable bib chips for an additional cost. Our standard offer is the show chip which provides the most reliable information.
