WHAT WE DO
After 10 great years of timing races, cheering on runners, and making friends, Tar River Timing has closed our doors. If you are looking for reliable timing in North Carolina, we suggest, Clockwork Timing, Run the East, and FS Series.
While no longer timing, Tar River Timing, does still host and direct the annual Medoc Trail Races.
CHIP TIMING
As our name indicates, the main service provided by Tar River Timing is. . . timing! Using the accurate and reliable IPICO timing system we can provide your event with chip timing at an affordable price. Our standard service is traditional shoe timing chips, but we can also provide disposable "bib chips" for an additional cost.
STREAMING RESULTS
Runners don't like to wait for for the event timers to print new copies of results. It takes time and waste paper. Weather permitting, TRT will provide streaming results of finishers on a 37" display screen at the race. Now runners can see results minutes after finishing the race!
FINISH LINE SET UP
Looking for a professional finish line at your next race? We provide a 20 foot wide set up that can be customized with your race and sponsor logos. The timing chip mats fit perfectly under the banner. We also include a digital timing clock and a coned off chute to safely steer runners towards the finish.
